The Bible plainly teaches that millions of people will be caught in a terrible situation when Christ comes again and takes the true Christians away from this earth to be with Him. Those people who remain must go through the most tortuous times the world has ever known--God's Word calls it the "Great Tribulation."
So... if you awaken some morning to find the newspapers telling of the mysterious disappearance of many people, you will know that you have been left behind to go through this awful period which Jesus described in Matthew 24:21 as a "great tribulation..."
The missing people will be folk from many denominations -- they are the true Christians who have been trusting in what our Lord Jesus Christ did for them on the Cross at Calvary for their salvation, not trusting in their own good works (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Yes, friend, if your newspapers have just announced that this event HAS taken place, you'll know that Christ has done as He promised and come back for His own. You will have to face this fact, and there are some vital things you must know and do if you are to among those who are saved during these terrible tribulation years.
A FAILED CHURCH The so-called "church" that remains during the tribulation is not the true Church, but the Bible calls it the "apostate church." It is made up of those churches who have failed to preach the true Gospel of salvation by faith alone -- faith in the shed Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. He took our punishment for our sins on the Cross, and then rose again after three days to appear to more than five hundred witnesses, and then ascended to God the Father in Heaven.
A WORLD CHURCH These churches will combine in a huge world church and will seek a strong leader to save a frightened, war-torn world from destruction. The Scriptures teach that Satan has prepared just such a strong leader for this time...one who is the devil's own substitue for Christ. This satanic substitute, called the Anti-Christ in the Bible, will first appear as a miracle working "strong man" who will captivate the imaginations of the people and whom they will elevate to world dominion as their "one great hope."
However, the true evil nature of this strong man will soon begin to assert itself. He will become bolder as the people of the world eagerly reach out to him for help. He will attain an absolute economic dictatorship of a world that is trusting him to save it from chaos. He will demand and receive complete allegiance from the people, even their actual worship!
DON'T TAKE THE MARK Thos who refuse to worship him and accept his mark (the mark is "666") will be killed outright or starve, for they will not be able to buy or sell if they do not bear the Mark of the Beast.
God's Word is very specific that those who worship the Anti-Christ or receive the Mark of the Beast on forehead or hand will receive the same eternal damnation reserved for Satan and his hosts (Revelation 14:9-11)
THERE IS STILL HOPE! Yes there is still hope for you! Even though you are caught in this great tribulation, there is hope if you will do what the Bible says you must do for your salvation. There is only one way...by believing and accepting God's gift of His own pure, sinless Son, who bore the punishment for our sins on the Cross as your Saviour.
Even though you have to pay with your life to openly confess Him as Saviour, you shall be saved. Thankfully, Revelation 7:13 shows that God will mercifully receive those of you who do take a stand for Him during the tribulation days and die for your faith. Verse 14 shows plainly that God will welcome in Heaven a host of people "...which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
This pamphlet was prepared before the Rapture occured with the earnest prayer that many of you will find it and read it during these awful days, and put your faith in God's sure Word. It is better to suffer physical death now to be with Jesus, rather than both physical death and eternal damnation by following after the Anti-Christ.
If you are reading this pamphlet before the newspapers break out with the headlines about missing people, do not delay - confess Christ as your personal Saviour now. Simply tell Him sincerely that you know you are a sinner and you are sorry for your sins Tell Him that you are turning away from your sins. Ask Jesus to save you and He will save you. You will be among the Christians for whom Jesus will return! You will escape those awful days of the tribulation here on earth.
Remember that for a short time God is still extending His hand to you in mercy and grace. He is earnestly imploring you to accept His priceless gift - salvation through the shed Blood of His Son, and the wonderful indwelling presence of His Holy Spirit to bless and help you the rest of your days.
